For those who know me will know that I have a fondness for fast-food and it doesn’t get any faster than a pre-7-am-flight-out-of-Sydney-Domestic MacDonalds fry-up. Confronted with the bewildering number of ‘combination options’ (essentially 3-5 menu items packaged in ‘meals’) I asked for the -  

“McCafe McValue McMeal? There’s too many Macs in that sentence!”

It’s seems like a lot of syllables for a burger, hash brown and coffee.

And just because this chronic cheap-skate never carries any cash, I decided to pay for my $4.95 meal with a debit card- which didn’t work- twice, but went through on the third time. I apologised for the hold-up.

“Don’t worry, it’s a McFunction McFail.”

Nothing like being served by a sassy breakfast waitress.
